Maria Smith
Admicity was designed and created by Maria Smith (with the help of an amazing team of developers!). Maria has 20 years of experience designing and creating automated solutions to paper-based tasks before a change in career was needed to fit in with family life.
Maria was the registrar at a state boarding school for almost a decade – playing a vital role in helping the school grow into the successful, oversubscribed school it is today.
She was surprised to discover that no software system existed that would integrate with the school’s MIS and automate every stage of the admissions process. The ideal product would capture and sync all the information needed by the different departments while at the pre-admission stage, which could then continue to be updated while the student progressed through the school.
It was a frustrating problem that needed to be solved. Maria’s blend of technical expertise and first-hand knowledge of the school office environment was the perfect combination of skills and experience to create the solution.
